Kuajiriwa wenye Shahada ya Sayansi ya Wanyama (Animal Science) au Sayansi ya Kilimo waliobobea katika Sayansi ya Wanyama kutoka Chuo Kikuu cha Kilimo cha Sokoine au sifa inayolingana na hiyo kutoka chuo kingine kinachotambuliwa na Serikali.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Kubuni mipango ya uzalishaji mifugo wilayani;
  2. Kuratibu uzalishaji wa mifugokatikamashamba madogo na makubwa ya mifugo;
  3. Kusaidia kuratibu mipango ya ugani kuhusiana na uzalishaji wa mifugo wilayani;
  4. Kuratibuna kuendesha mafunzo ya ufugajibora, usindikaji wa mazao ya mifugo kwa wataalam wa mifugo na wafugaji;
  5. Kufanyamapitio na marekebisho ya miundombinu ya masoko ya mifugo wilayani kwake na mkoani;
  6. Kubuni, kuanzisha na kutekeleza miradi ya maendeleo ya mifugo wilayani;
  7. Kufanya soroveya ya rasilimali (resource survey) k.m. mifugo, vyakula vya mifugo, malisho n.k. katika eneo lake la kazi;
  8. Kuendesha mafunzokwa mawakala, wauzaji na wataalam juu ya njia salama katika kuweka na kusambaza pembejeo za mifugo;
  9. Kutafiti maeneo mapya yanayofaa kwa ufugaji wa mifugo mbalimbali;
  10. .Kufanya tathmini juu ya uharibifu wa mazingira unaotokana na ufugaji katika wilaya;
  11. .Kushiriki katika shughuli za kudhibiti milipuko ya wanyama/viumbe waharibifu wa malisho;
  12. Kufuatilia,kuweka, kuchambua na kutafsiri takwimu za uzalishaji wa mifugo;
  13. Kuandaa taarifa ya jumla juu ya maendeleo ya mifugo;
  14. .Kufanya kazi nyingine zinazohusianana fani yake kama atakavyoelekezwa na mkuu wake wa kazi.

MESSAGE FROM PSRS SECRETARY


The President’s Office, Public Service Recruitment Secretariat (PSRS) is an independent department established by Section 29 (1) of the Public Service CAP 298 as amended by the Act No. 18 of 2007. PSRS was established to facilitate the recruitment process on behalf of the Government. The Amendment Act No.18 of 2007 under section 29 (6) stipulates the functions of the PSRS as follows

  1. Search for various professionals with special skills and prepare database for such professionals for easier recruitment.
  2. Register graduates and professionals for purposes of ease of reference in filling vacant posts.
  3. Advertise vacant posts occurring in the public service.
  4. Engage appropriate experts for purposes of conducting interviews.
  5. Advise employers on various matters related to recruitment, and
  6. Do any other act or thing which may be directed by the Minister responsible for Public Service.

Human resource is an ankle and significant factor in public service delivery, thus, PSRS has been given a role of recruiting public servants in fair, transparent, and timely manner; while observing and guaranteeing quality and access to all applicants in order to deliver equitable Public Service in Tanzania. Our aim is to improve government public Service on issues concerning recruitment process According to our rules and regulations and at the same time enhance good relations with Our stakeholders.

As we all know that the government motto is to enhance transparency and accountability to the public. The PSRS will enable Ministries, Independent Departments and Agencies, Regional Secretariats, Local Government Authorities and other Public Institutions to acquire human resources with relevant competencies by adhering to principles of fairness, impartiality, transparency and meritocracy in the public service of Tanzania. It is therefore expected that, by adhering to the above principles; the public service in Tanzania will be of high standard and hence contribute to the growth of the national economy in line with the Vision 2025.

WHO WE ARE


The Public Service Recruitment Secretariat (PSRS) is a government organ with a status of independent Department established specifically to facilitate the recruitment process of employees to the Public Service. Public Service Recruitment Secretariat was established by the Public Service Act No. 8 0f 2002 as amended by Act No. 18 of 2007, section 29(1).

To be a Centre of Excellence in Public Service Recruitment in the region.

Mission

To undertake recruitment of Public servants using modern approaches by adhering to principles of equity, transparency and merits as well as providing advice to employers on employment related matters.
