1. Information We Collect

To operate the recruitment workflows, we collect and store these details:

  • Account Parameters: Name, Email, Phone, Hashed Password, and System Roles.
  • Candidate Profiles: Work experience, current titles, self-introductions (bios), and CV rich text built online.
  • Employer Records: Business registration numbers (BRELA), company names, logos, overview write-ups, and career URLs.
2. How We Store Your Professional Resume (CV)

Unlike traditional portals, we store your Curriculum Vitae as native database text. This removes the risk of server storage bloating and allows participating employers to review profiles instantly. Your written CV text is strictly private and is only visible to:

  • Yourself, through your Candidate Profile settings.
  • Registered employers associated with the specific vacancies you explicitly apply to.
3. Selected Candidate Announcements & Data Protection

In compliance with our data protection and transparency guidelines, public announcements are handled based on the specific recruitment stage to balance identification needs with candidate privacy. Public Shortlist Announcements are not private and will display candidates' names and address details for verification purposes. However, to protect candidate identities during evaluation, all published Exam Results exclusively display secure Interview Numbers (or Exam Reference Codes), along with candidates' scores and selection status (selected / not selected). Similarly, final Placement Announcements are anonymized to only show secure Interview Numbers (or Exam Reference Codes) and their selection status (selected / not selected), ensuring merit-based transparency while keeping personal contact details private.

4. Security Measures

We store passwords using standard, strong hashes (`PASSWORD_DEFAULT`) to prevent unauthorized access. In addition, we utilize prepared statements across all database queries to protect against SQL injections.

5. Your Control & Preferences

You can update your personal contact details, modify your online CV, toggle email/SMS notification preferences, or completely clear your history from your account dashboard at any time.
